last days of summer

As summer well and truly draws to a close, I thought it would be appropriate to post arguably one of the most summery outfits I've worn in the last few months on the blog (I think I'm in denial). This top and shorts were kindly sent over by Choies, and all I can say is that I'm gutted they didn't arrive in time for my holiday earlier in the month! The shorts really remind me of the AA tap shorts, what with the little gold button and zip at the side. They fit like a glove (I got them in a M and usually wear a size 10 in bottoms) and are so stretchy and comfortable, and despite not being quite as high-quality as their AA counterpart they're certainly good enough for me! I'll definitely be saving a space for them in my summer wardrobe for next year, as the bright coral colour would look fab with a tan. I'm also a big fan of the top - it's again really soft and comfortable, and as well as wearing it with these shorts I also wore it with my Topshop midi for a meal out, which you can see in this photo on my Twitter. For only £8.44, I really don't see a reason why we shouldn't all have one. Needless to say, once again I'm chuffed with the pieces sent to me by Choies; they never disappoint!
