OASAP TOP* // MISSGUIDED 'SWEET DEAL' SKIRT* // CHOIES NECKLACE* // CASIO WATCH via AMAZON // PRIMARK SOCKS // NIKE 'ROSHE RUN' TRAINERS
SAY HELLO TO MY NEW BABIES. I have wanted a pair of Nike Roshe's since I first spotted this very pair on ASOS many moons ago, but unfortunately I had no funds/excuse to buy them at the time. Today, however, I at least had the 'excuse to buy them' bit down (a trip to PGL with my Year 7 form group in a couple of weeks that warrants 'sensible' trainers instead of flatforms), so whilst shopping till literally dropping on Oxford Street with one of my bestest buds earlier I decided to pick up a pair! To be honest I was actually after these grey ones or these black ones as I thought the speckled variety of my dreams was sold out, but as I wandered aimlessly past the Offspring concession in Selfridges I was proved wrong! They were the last pair in the shop and were my size; now if that's not meant to be, then what is? Anyway, to sum that little story up; they are mine, I am in love, and you should be prepared to see a whole lot more of these bad boys on here in the forseeable future. Also, I don't know if any of you noticed that I have actually managed to match my socks with this fabulous quality Oasap top; the new twosie?

MONKI DRESS // LINZI HEELS* // OASAP NECKLACE* // MISS SELFRIDGE BELT // CASIO WATCH
I bought this dress from Monki just before I went away on holiday, and absolutely adore it. It's actually very long and sack-like without the belt, but the print is to die for and and the colours are perfect for the awkward summer-to-autumn transition that is fast approaching. I was reading a blog post on Frankie's blog (check her out her style is amazing) last night where she mentioned how it's annoying when bloggers wear outrageous 'hypothetical' outfits with killer heels and act like it's what they wear on a daily basis (read it here); I was literally reading it thinking "AMEN TO THAT", and then today I completely contradicted myself by wearing these badass platforms in this post! Needless to say I would not be wearing these heels for a trip down to the Post Office (to be honest I rarely wear heels even if I'm going 'out out'); realistically I'd team this dress with a pair of creepers or my platform Converse, but I just really wanted to show you all these shoes because I think they're fab. In general I don't think I do a bad job of showing you all what I actually wear on a daily basis, as I do try my best to take photos of outfits on the days I'm actually wearing them, rather than just playing dress up and putting together things that I would never really wear in public! Having said that, it is fun to throw on some heels and post some more dressed up ensembles every once in a while. What are your opinions on the subject? Do you like reading blogs showing genuine, day to day style, or do you find that slightly dull, and prefer to read the more outrageous, editorial, magazine-shoot-esque posts? I'd be interested to know!

FASHION UNION PINAFORE* (NOW ON SALE!!) // OASAP TEE* // TOPSHOP 'ADONIS2' BOOTS via NEXT2NOWT // TOPSHOP GILET // VINTAGE NECKLACE // CASIO WATCH
I'm back to my old, monochrome habits again! This time it's all about this fab polka dot pinafore (which is now a measly £15 in the sale!) teamed with my new Oasap tee; I absolutely adore the crochet detailing on the sleeves, and it has a nice lil' horse motif on the front as well which you can see better online in their photos. I don't think I've done the whole thing much justice by layering it under the pinafore!
In other news, I've spent pretty much my entire day today trying to sort all my shizz out for Reading festival this weekend. I went last year so feel quite prepared and am really looking forward to it, but there's literally so much to think about! So far I've filled a big rucksack and a suitcase with clothes, food and face paints; I think you'll agree that I've nailed the essentials. Have any of you been to any festivals this year? Will I be seeing any of you at Reading?!

TOP - PERSUNMALL* // SHORTS - AMERICAN APPAREL // BELT - PRIMARK // CREEPERS - UNDERGROUND via EBAY
Another Persunmall gem for you all today; I seriously cannot get enough of this place! The quality of their pieces is so good, and there are always small details that make each item slightly different such as the small cut outs on this burgundy number. The AA shorts I've teamed it with were a pre-holiday purchase and I'm a big fan; you can get them for a mere £8 online or I think I paid about a fiver at the AA outlet on Brick Lane!

DRESS - MOTEL* // NECKLACE - MISSEEE* // JELLY SHOES - JUJU via MR SHOES // BAG - PRIMARK
Hello strangers! I've been pretty absent blog-wise over the last two weeks due to spending an amazing week in Greece with my family, followed by a few days of exam result anxiety before the big day finally arrived yesterday, so I just wasn't really in the mood to blog! But after today I'm hoping that normal blogging will resume. I literally suffered the worst post-holiday blues I've every experienced after my week away and felt so sad for what felt like ages; I was not happy to be back on home soil but I think I'm gradually getting over it now! And results day went even better than expected; a few people asked me what I got and I'm not too comfortable with sharing the exact grades but rest assured I am absolutely made up! I hope the rest of you AS/A2 people feel the same, and well done to all of you.
So just a word on the outfit; I picked out this dress from Motel the other week and have fallen head over heels for it. The quality is amazing and the print is to die for, as is the smock-style fit which makes it so comfy and easy to throw on; the Motel 'Penny' dresses have got to be my favourites at the moment, and I'm currently eyeing up this paisley beauty. To be honest everything on Motel is right up my street at the moment and it's fast becoming one of my favourite high-street brands! I think the fact that I've teamed an already summery dress with bright accessories and sandals corroborates my earlier point about the blues; I think I'm in denial.
