cut-out & studded

TOP - PERSUNMALL* // SHORTS - TOPSHOP // BAG - ASOS // BRACELETS - ILCENTIMETRO* AND MARKET // SOCKS - TOPSHOP // CREEPERS - UNDERGROUND via EBAY // WATCH - CASIO via AMAZON
Everyone say hello to my new favourite top that I have literally worn non-stop since it arrived last week. I love everything about it, from the super high quality, the studs, the cut-outs and the perfect not-too-long-not-too-short-just-about-covers-the-food-baby length. I seriously recommend that you check this and all the other fabulous items out on Persunmall; I've been so impressed with them so far! I've also donned my new Topshop shorts in this photo which were a bit of a pre-holiday panic buy; they're really comfortable and really high waisted, and remind me slightly of the American Apparel denim cuff shorts except a teeny bit shorter (and the Topshop versions will leave you about £20 better off)!

daisies

TOP - MISSGUIDED* // SKIRT - MOTEL ROCKS* // JELLY SHOES - JUJU via MR SHOES // BELT - PRIMARK // NECKLACE - TOPSHOP
Daisy prints are everywhere this summer, and quite rightly so! They're a lovely alternative to the usual ditsy florals that stick around year on year, and I think Motel have got it down to a T with their monochrome variety. I've worn this skirt non-stop since it landed on my doormat, and have also got my eye on the wild daisy crop tee and these daisy print dungarees; so obsessed with everything Motel are bringing out at the moment!
In other news, I ventured up to the American Apparel outlet on Brick Lane yesterday with my friend; I only got a pair of shorts as I'm desperately trying to save up for holiday spending money, but it's seriously worth a trip if you're a bit of an AA addict like myself. I'll probably be back again before it closes down in September!

ilcentimetro

ILCENTIMETRO BRACELETS IN ARGENTINA SKY, EGYPTIAN BROWN AND ARCTIC WHITE*
Today's post is entirely dedicated to a damn amazing range of leather arm candy that I have been wearing non-stop lately; that being these uber cool bracelets by Italian brand, ilcentimetro. I'd never heard of the brand before they got in touch, but basically the concept was created by a small Italian design team and has just recently been launched in the UK, and I am absolutely head over heels. The 'Arctic White' bracelet is definitely my most-worn, however I have dabbled in the other colours they sent over and there are so many other gorgeous shades to choose from. I think one of these bracelets would make such a great gift for a friend or even for yourself if you fancied a treat! They're just so different and unlike anything I've seen available before and are amazing quality; I'm so excited to have them in my collection. To make these wonderful ilcentimetro gems even more appealing, they're made in Italy and have that wonderful real leather smell... now I challenge you to give me one good reason why you shouldn't get one!

(Just for reference size-wise, I have these in 'small' and wear them as a cuff on my forearm; see this post.)

madam rage style challenge

WEDDING LOOK
DRESS - MADAM RAGE* // HEELS - EBAY // BAG - ASOS // NECKLACE - H&M // BELT - DOROTHY PERKINS
FESTIVAL LOOK
DRESS - MADAM RAGE* // KIMONO - VINTAGE // BELT - PRIMARK // BAG - NEW LOOK // BOOTS - TOPSHOP 'ADONIS2' (available to buy for £30 on Next2Nowt) // SUNGLASSES - PRIMARK
So I'm back from Berlin and had such a fantastic time - thank you to everyone who wished me a safe and happy trip! It was such a beautiful and interesting city, the food was AMAZING, and I cannot wait to go back in the future to explore further. Have any of you visited? What did you think?
Anyway, real life aside and onto the post! I was recently tasked with styling up the same dress from online retailer Madam Rage, in order to create two very different looks that could be worn on two very different occasions. As I'm sure you can infer from the above captions, those two occasions were a wedding and a festival! I chose the crochet and bow print dress as I thought the flattering skater-shape and monochrome print would make it extremely versatile and easy to wear. For the wedding look I went for a more girly vibe by teaming the dress with my new eBay platforms which I'm in love with, and some simple black and gold accessories. For the festival look my Topshop Adonis2's, a fringed bag, a leather belt and a printed kaftan made the dress a little more festival-ready! It seems pretty apt to conclude, then, that this Madam Rage number is certainly a keeper and will be a bit of a go-to piece in my wardrobe this summer. It's so versatile, comfortable, and just the right amount of girly; a welcome addition to any wardrobe if you ask me!

What do you think of my looks? How would you style the dress?

CHOIES DRESS* // ASOS ESPADRILLES // MISS SELFRIDGE NECKLACE // PRIMARK SUNGLASSES // CASIO WATCH
When I spotted this dress on the Choies website I was instantly drawn to it and knew that it had to be mine. The paisley print is to die for, and despite being extremely short (almost to the point where I question whether this is actually a dress or a top) I literally cannot wait to wear this on the beach on holiday and possibly everywhere else I ever go for at least the next 2 weeks; I don't want to take it off! The relaxed, smock shape is also a huge tick in the box for me. Also, what do you guys think of the new photo set-up - is it a keeper? I felt like a proper blogger sitting cross-legged on a bench!
In other news, I'm off to Berlin this weekend so not much will be going on on the blogging front I'm afraid! However I'm sure I'll be tweeting and instagramming like a good'un whilst I'm a way so don't forget to follow me on both of those to keep updated!

reveall

T-SHIRT - REVEALL CLOTHING* // SKIRT - AMERICAN APPAREL // BELT - PRIMARK // NECKLACES - DELILAH DUST & TOPSHOP // BRACELET - IL CENTIMETRO*
Today I'm wearing a t-shirt from a brand called Reveall Clothing that my friend Matt launched just last week. He dyes and prints all the tees himself, and they're all sooo so nice & such bargains at only £10 each - you can also get beanies and I'm pretty sure there will be some new stock soon so keep checking back! If you want to get updated with any giveaways or discounts he's holding, then check out the Reveall Clothing instagram (@reveallclothing). I've teamed the 'All the Blues' tee (size S) with my new American Apparel denim pencil skirt that I am quite literally in LOVE with. I almost purchased it online but caught wind of it being on sale in store with 30% off, so whilst in London last week I picked one up on Oxford St. It is incredibly tight, almost to the point where getting up big stairs can be a struggle, but it's totally worth if you ask me because it's just so AMAZING. You can always trust American Apparel for some beautiful denim.
On the other hand (or wrist, ha), I would just like to draw your attention to this little piece of leather amazingness I'm wearing in the form of this Il Centimetro bracelet. I'm in love! There's more to come on this in a future post, but in the mean time you can check out their website here.

What do you think of my t-shirt? Will you be buying anything from Reveall?

cold shoulder

TOP - PERSUNMALL* // SKIRT - RIVER ISLAND // CLUTCH BAG - PRIMARK // SOCKS - ASOS // NECKLACE - ASOS // CREEPERS - UNDERGROUND via EBAY // BRACELET - PERSUNMALL* // WATCH - CASIO via AMAZON
Today marks my first foray into the world of the cold-shoulder. I never really liked the style much to be honest as I never thought it would flatter me, but I decided to give it a go seeing as everyone else has with this Persunmall offering. I actually really like this ensemble in the end, and feel quite smart but not overly-so. Needless to say I will definitely be venturing further into this now not-so-foreign land in the future and may even attempt a cold-shoulder dress; how scandalous. In other news, how perfect is this ASOS necklace? It arrived today and I'm so chuffed; you can grab yourself one in the sale for only £6 here, and you can also get these amazing fishnet socks here for a bargainous £1.50. There's no excuse not to!

Are you a fan of the cold-shoulder?

festival style ft. missguided & a giveaway

KAFTAN - MISSGUIDED* // CROP TOP - TOPSHOP // BELT - PRIMARK // DM's - CLOGGS
TOP & SHORTS - MISSGUIDED* // RUCKSACK - VINTAGE // NECKLACE - NEW LOOK

When the lovely Fran from Missguided got in touch recently asking if I'd be interested in taking part in a festival style feature, I jumped at the chance. The other bloggers and I were given a £50 budget to spend on any pieces we'd like to use for our festival outfit; I came up with 3 looks, two of which I've shown you above! This year I'll be going to Reading fest for the second year running and I'll definitely be sporting the above looks whilst singing/shouting along to all the insanely amazing acts that are playing. I've also decided that DM's will definitely be my shoe of choice after my wellies pretty much tore up my feet last year (unless, of course, I manage to nab a pair of Hunters at a bargainous price before the end of August!). Click here to see the festival looks that the other bloggers put together!
Missguided have also kindly offered you all the chance to win a £40 voucher and a festival goody bag that includes sunglasses, hair accessories and beauty products (like the one I've photographed above) that will nicely top off all your festival outfits. All you have to do is fill out the Rafflecopter form below. You've only got  a few days to enter so get in there quick - good luck!
