Happy Easter everyone! This is what I'm wearing today - I'm pretty sure 80% of bloggers have this dress, but it's so lovely I just had to get myself one. I absolutely love the whole smock-dress thing that is emerging; it's such a flattering shape, and ASOS have about ten different styles that are all waiting patiently in my 'Saved for Later' basket for some kind of discount code! I've teamed the dress with my new H&M necklace which I'm in love with, mainly because it's got two small gold studs on it as well as the silver chain, which I feel makes it acceptable to wear with my gold Casio. I don't tend to like clashing too much gold and silver hardware, but I'm still awaiting the silver Casio of my dreams so everything has to revolve around the gold watch for now! (Hopefully I'll be lucky and get it for my birthday on Wednesday - finally going to be 17 yay)!
In other news, I'm having a huge wardrobe clear out so have listed the first batch of items on Ebay here; I'm doing it in batches so that I'm not too stressed with sending hundreds of things out in one go! These things will all end next Saturday, and then I'll put up some more straight away. Have a look and see if anything tickles your fancy!

luxury wishlist: Avenue 32*

Despite the fact that I'm a high-street girl through and through, I do enjoy the odd browse of a designer collection from time to time. It's nice to get a bit of inspiration, see what trends different designers are championing, and lust after a few brands that I will be able to afford once I've won the lottery (any day now, I promise). I've compiled a little wishlist from Avenue 32 ('wish' being the operative word!); a new site which stocks a lovely collection of pieces from a whole host of high-end brands. My favourites are the Marios Schwab leather skirt, the peach Folk raincoat (I can envisage this at Reading Fest) and the Cedric Charlier lime green jumper - it is quite literally the perfect piece of spring knitwear if you ask me! What are yours?

double-sole creepers & cut-outs

I feel like I look like such a punk in these photos, but I guess that's what comes as a result of pairing red tartan and huge, black, double-sole creepers together! I won these bad boys on Ebay a week or so ago; I'm so so chuffed because despite the fact that they're a bit scuffed up, they're the genuine article from THE best creeper brand (in my opinion), which is Underground. This pair would normally cost £95 and I paid about £17, which is the biggest bargain - they're slightly too big but for that price I can definitely handle it. I can't wait to pair them with some light-wash dungarees and tanned limbs (I can dream) in the summer! 
This dress is also a recent new addition to my wardrobe - it's another piece sent to me by Fashion Union (see my post feat. their biker jacket here), and I really love it. It ticks the monochrome box, and also has those cheeky cut-outs at the side. I'm looking forward to dressing it up with heels to go out at some point soon, but in the mean time I've been wearing a black vest under it for school which makes it a bit of a multi-tasker too! monochrome

Head-to-toe monochrome pretty much sums up my wardrobe at the moment - it's so handy that one of the easiest things to wear is such a huge trend; I just hope it sticks around! And this is my first outfit post feat. my new Adonis2's (previously seen in this post) - get ready to see a lot more of these little beauties!

In other news, it would be absolutely amazing if you could nominate me in the 'Best Teen Blogger' category of this year's Company Blog Awards (simply click here)! It's the first year that under 18's have been eligible to win an award which is extremely exciting, so it would be great if you could take a minute or two to pop me a vote!

new in: topshop adonis2's

I've been after pair of black leather boots for ages and these were at the top of the wishlist - after lots of deliberation I finally caved and bought them a couple of weekends ago. I've worn them non-stop since, and they'll no doubt feature in an outfit post very soon! If any of you size 6's fancy getting your hands on them, Next2Nowt currently have a few pairs for only £40 (some size 6's here and some size 7's here). I'm a size 6 and a half/size 7 & have the Adonis2's in a 6, if this helps!
In other news, I'm absolutely addicted to Ebay and can't stop bidding for things! I managed to bag a pair of black suede double-sole Underground creepers for just £17.50 (including P&P), and I'm currently watching about ten pairs of vintage denim dungarees because I'm desperate to get the perfect pair for summer! If any of you know any good sellers, link me up.

All it has taken is two relatively sunny days in England for me to start thinking about my spring wardrobe, and this gorgeous blouse by Minkpink is a welcome addition to that very thing! I love the shape, the print, the buttons and the quality, and it's all thanks to the lovely ladies at Cagecity that sent it to me. Yet another outfit featuring my beloved Joni jeans! I've teamed them with a splash of neon and my new studded biker jacket from Fashion Union - I've got it in a size L for a slightly more over-sized look, in case anyone was wondering. I've also got on my Max Stars which I never seem to take off - I'm so excited, because the official Converse flatforms have just become available on ASOS; I'm sure it won't be long before I lose all willpower and buy a pair!

baroque

This little baroque number was kindly sent to me by Red Label - a brand I hadn't heard of before they got in touch, but that stock some really affordable pieces for both day and night wear (I currently love this crop tee they're selling). My first impression when I put on the dress was that the fit wasn't great on me. Obviously this would be different for different body shapes, but something about the shape or the fabric meant that on me it was a slightly odd fit around the top and shoulders that wasn't the most flattering! Despite this, I like the shift dress shape, and am a huge fan of the metallic baroque pattern. Metallics always seem to be on trend, so I feel like this little number ticks a few boxes in that department! The print also means that not a lot else is needed - hence the plain black boots and minimal jewellery (they don't look this scuffed in real life I swear)!
