COAT - MANGO (via ASOS)/SCARF - ASOS/JUMPER - TOPSHOP/BLOUSE - PRIMARK/JEANS - TOPSHOP/CREEPERS - OFFICE/SATCHEL - PRIMARK/NECKLACE - TOPSHOP
Outfit number two featuring the Topshop Joni's that are causing quite a stir in the blogging world - this time in black! I won't rave about them again because I already did that in this post, but I will say that the hype is 100% deserved, and that never again will I lament the fact that I can't afford the AA Easy Jeans!

I haven't really got much to say today, so I'll keep it short and sweet. I do have one question though for the techno-heads among you - which DSLRs would you recommend for a beginner? I've been looking at Nikon and Canon, but there are so many to choose from and I'm in way out of my depth! Help/suggestions would be hugely appreciated!

new additions

EBAY NECKLACE/THE BODY SHOP FACE MASKS & LA ROCHE POSAY EFFACLAR DUO/EBAY EYELASHES/TOPSHOP 'JONI' JEANS/MANGO JUMPER & ASOS JUMPER/JEFFREY CAMPBELL LITAS
Here are a few photos that I took of some of my recent purchases - the Jeffrey Campbell's were technically a Christmas present, but I haven't shown you them yet so thought I'd pop them in this post! I bought the Topshop 'Joni' jeans that everyone and their mother has been raving about in black this week, because I loved the light wash ones so much and have been wearing them 24/7 (worn in this post) - more and more washes are gradually being added to the range, so check online to see if the colour you want is available yet! Also, if any of you are interested in buying the famous La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo, you can currently buy two La Roche Posay products for £15 from Boots, which is such a good deal seeing as the Effaclar Duo on its own is £13! It's worked wonders on my skin, so I'd definitely recommend giving it a go if you were considering it, but order quick because it goes out of stock so quickly in store and online!

Also, I've started to post some of photos from this blog on my Tumblr, so if any of you fancy giving me a bit of support and following/reblogging me, it would mean a lot! *shameless plug*

That's all for today! What do you think of my purchases?

JUMPER - TOPSHOP/JACKET - ARMY SURPLUS/SHIRT - ASOS/JEANS - TOPSHOP/DR MARTENS - CLOGGS/NECKLACE - TOPSHOP/BRACELET - EBAY/WATCH - CASIO
Went for a slight change of scenery today! We don't get snow very often, so I thought the least I could do was utilize it in a few photos! I'm wearing my camo jacket, my new favourite jumper from Topshop, and the ultimate snow boots that are my DM's. I would definitely recommend checking out Cloggs if you're looking for branded footwear, because more often than not they have  big discounts on brands, and they're really reliable - I've bought from them on numerous occasions!
Also, what do you guys think of me putting a few more photos in my outfit posts? Is it a better/worse format? Let me know in the comments!

let it snow

'JONI' JEANS - TOPSHOP/COAT - MANGO (via ASOS)/JUMPER - TOPSHOP/NECKLACE - EBAY/DR MARTENS - CLOGGS
Say hello to my new favourite style of jeans - the Topshop Joni's. They are basically American Apparel Easy Jeans but at half the price, and when I spotted them in the Oxford Street store a few weeks ago I had to suppress a squeal of happiness! I've worn them endlessly since I bought them, and have ordered a black pair which are currently on their way to me! They're so soft and comfortable and are an uber flattering fit, although do come up quite short - I usually wear a L32 with the Leigh's, but need a L34 with these ones. If you fancy the Easy Jeans but can't afford them (like me), then one hundred percent give these a try! I've also rediscovered my Docs, which are perfect for the snow. I don't know why I didn't wear them more often before!

What do you think of the Topshop Joni's? Will you be giving them a try?

my current 'to buy' list

1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9
I'm one of these people that makes lists for just about everything, and my 'to buy' list is one that is constantly being added to! I'm not a big impulse buyer, so things tend to sit on the list for a while, and if after a few weeks I still want it as much as I did when I put it on the list, it means that it wasn't a whim and it's acceptable to buy it. There's nothing I hate more than wasting money, or buying something only to wear it once or twice!
These are all the bits and bobs currently on The List. The DM's are right at the very top (can't believe I found such a cheap site!), and the Topshop skirt and Kurt Geiger boots are very close seconds. I'm seriously struggling so hard to refrain from buying the boots. They've only got my size left, and they're reduced from £170 to £39 - if that's not meant to be then I don't know what is! But I did just get some JC Lita's in December, and I haven't worn them enough yet to justify a new pair of platforms, so I'm going to have to continue to refrain myself for the time being!

Do any of you write 'to buy' lists? What things are currently at the top?

firmoo

DRESS - TOPSHOP/NECKLACE - EBAY/BRACELET - EBAY/SUNGLASSES -  FIRMOO*
HELLO EVERYONE. It's been ages since I wrote a blog post (so much school work, boo) but today I was feeling motivated so here I am once again. A pretty plain and simple outfit really that I took photos of ages ago - just my favourite Topshop dress and some cheap Ebay jewellery!
A little while ago I was kindly sent these wayfarer-style sunglasses from Firmoo. They sell hundreds of styles of prescription and non-prescription glasses, and even have a fantastic First Pair Free Program so that you can try a pair out and only pay shipping. I'm really impressed with the speedy delivery and high quality of the glasses they sent me. They came in a nice little pouch with a hard case and lense cleaning cloth to keep them protected (I'm a classic sunglasses crusher when I'm on holiday - I always sit on them!). The only slight downside to them is that the frames aren't quite wide enough for my head, but it isn't that noticeable when I've got them on.
I'm not a huge sunglasses wearer, but I'm so pleased that I tried out Firmoo as they really do offer a great service - I'd really recommend that you give them a try if you're on the hunt for a pair of glasses!
