MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE

 MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!
I can't quite believe it's tomorrow! The last few weeks have been so so busy, and I can't wait to just chill out, spend time with family, rip open some presents, eat, drink and be very very merry. I hope you all have a SPECTACULAR day tomorrow!

jumping

IN LOVE WITH FASHION JUMPSUIT* // NEW LOOK HOLOGRAPHIC CLUTCH // ACCESSORIZE BRACELET AND NECKLACE // PRIMARK BELT // EBAY HEELS
I've been wanting to try out the whole jumpsuit thing for a little while now, and my wishes came true with the arrival of this lil' black beauty from Love. It's so comfortable owing to the jersey material, and the fit is absolutely perfect! It's so flattering, and I cannot wait to get the chance to wear it out - hopefully during some of the festivities fast approaching this month! It also comes in lots of otherNow that I've been bitten by the jumpsuit bug, I've been obsessing over all things all-in-one; I adore this one and this one from Topshop, and also love this (slightly more purse friendly) Missguided offering. Jumpsuits make a great slightly bolder alternative to a dress, and there's absolutely no danger of flashing your undergarments after tripping over an unseen pocket of air because your heels are ridiculously high and you've had a few too many; not that I've ever experienced this, of course..

it takes two

PRIMARK JUMPER // TOPSHOP SKIRT (SALE) // MISSGUIDED CARDIGAN* // H&M BOOTS // TOPSHOP NECKLACE // ACCESSORIZE STUDDED BRACELET
A bit of knitwear overload in the eyes of some in today's post perhaps, however to be honest I don't think this is possible as we collide head on with winter, and I attempt to insulate myself with the assistance of as many fluffy items of clothing as possible (see further examples here and here). I do become a bit of a knitwear fanatic as soon as the cold weather hits but lets face it, who doesn't love a cosy jumper or two, or three, or so many that you can no longer count them on two hands? This Primark gem is the latest addition to my growing collection of fluffy jumpers, and is one of my favourites. However I've also got a big soft spot for this mammoth Missguided loop-knit cardigan, which is indescribably warm. Missguided have really come up trumps with their knitwear this season, and I'm currently eyeing up this shearling bad boy which also comes in black, as well as these badass boots (so not knitwear I know, but worth a mention all the same).

New Look Winter Wishes Charity Ball

MY OUTFIT: WAREHOUSE DRESS // TOPSHOP SOCKS // ACCESSORIZE NECKLACE // NEW LOOK CLUTCH* // EBAY HEELS // PRIMARK COAT
JULIA'S OUTFIT: TOPSHOP SKIRT // PRIMARK TOP // ASOS NECKLACE // TOPSHOP JACKET // PRIMARK CLUTCH // NEW LOOK HEELS
So last Wednesday night, myself and my friend Julia were lucky enough to attend the New Look Winter Wishes Charity Ball. I quite literally couldn't believe that I'd actually been invited - it was by far one of the biggest, snazziest, most exclusive events that I've yet attended! We ate a delicious three course meal, enjoyed performances from Flawless and The Saturdays (genuinely knew all the lyrics, how sad), drank copious amounts of champagne and wine, and took full advantage of the photo booth! The highlight of the night for me was definitely having my outfit complimented in the toilets by Ashley from Made in Chelsea (classy), and I was also so excited to meet Tanya Burr - she is so beautiful! But of course the event was held in order to raise money for charity, and it was amazing to see so many people donating unbelievable amounts during the auction - one man actually bid £20,000. I'm still in shock. Needless to say it was a great night; it was fab to meet some fellow bloggers and get dolled up, and I'd like to thank Rhian for the invite! You're the best.

P.S Sorry for the terrible iPhone photos!

TOPSHOP JEANS // CHOIES COAT* // MOTEL JUMPER* // MONKI BOOTS via ASOS // NEW LOOK CLUTCH // ACCESSORIZE NECKLACE
Fluffy jumper number two today! My fluffy knitwear collection has expanded rapidly since this post featuring this Front Row Shop beauty, which has unfortunately led to a simultaneous increase in the quantity of hand-washing that needs to be done - a small price to pay for such great knitwear if you ask me! This Motel number is uber soft, and the slight crop, light grey knit and high neck make it feel so nineties, which can never be a bad thing. I also love my new Choies coat which smartens up everything and is surprisingly cosy (I got an M, so get an L if you want it more oversized!), and also those Monki boots that sold out so fast on ASOS a week or two ago! I'm so chuffed that I got my hands on them, and look forward to wearing them to death in the coming weeks.

black damask

TOPSHOP JUMPER, JEANS AND NECKLACE // ASOS SHIRT, SOCKS AND SCARF // MOTEL ROCKS JACKET* // H&M BOOTS
Motel strikes again! I love this lil' textured number so much it hurts; it just adds that little bit extra to even the most basic of all-black ensembles, and despite not being the warmest cover-up, it's just so lovely that being a bit chilly is a small price to pay.
Today has been a pretty productive day all round - I made a start on some coursework and had a major wardrobe clear-out that will definitely be resulting in an update of my blog sale later this week (see what's currently available by clicking here). Most of the things I'm going to be selling I still really love, but I just need to clear out some space! My wardrobe was so crammed full that the rail actually broke right off last week, so everything was just in a huge pile at the bottom! Hence the emergency clear-out session. It's actually so therapeutic though, like a kind of sartorial catharsis. Plus getting rid of a load of stuff means that when I hit Oxford Street on Friday, I won't feel so guilty when I buy a whole bunch of new stuff that I probably don't need. Now though, it's time for dinner before Made in Chelsea later - I'm hooked!

fluffy

FRONT ROW SHOP JUMPER* // H&M SHIRT // MISSGUIDED SKIRT* // LYDC BAG* // DR MARTEN 1461's // CASIO WATCH // TOPSHOP NECKLACE
It was inevitable that a fluffy piece of knitwear would soon be making an appearance on my blog - they are everywhere at the minute and it was only really a matter of time before I hopped on the bandwagon! Having eyed up the Topshop and ASOS offerings I knew that my next knitwear purchased would involve a lil' bit of fluffiness, however when I spotted this beauty from Front Row Shop I knew it was the one I wanted. Unfortunately my over-exposed photos just don't do it the justice it deserves; in real life it's a lovely creamy pink colour with little flecks of silver running through it that remind me of snow, and not only this but it's fully lined so isn't itchy at all. Front Row Shop is new to me but I've already got my eye on so many pieces on there, such as this fluffy black jumper (are you spotting a theme?) and this pink cocoon coat. Yep, I'm hopping on the pink coat bandwagon too! Teamed with a bit of pleather courtesy of Missguided, my trusty Docs and my new go-to bag and I was ready to face the world, or just about! Now though, it's time to get back to my book; I'm reading Sylvia Plath's The Bell Jar and I am absolutely engrossed. I'll let you know my thoughts once I've reached the end! Have any of you read it?

tassles

AMERICAN APPAREL RIDING PANTS // URBAN OUTFITTERS GLITTERY CROP TOP // PERSUNMALL HALTER-NECK CROP TOP* // SO IN FASHION KIMONO* // H&M BOOTS // ASOS NECKLACE
A whole lotta black and a whole lotta layering going on in today's outfit! Say hello my fabulous new kimono courtesy of So in Fashion, and my new H&M boots that I refuse to take off of my feet (FYI the reason they look so dirty is because they got wet as I walked across the grass, damn). I bought them after seeing them on Frankie of Even Though I'm Skint, and boy am I glad I did. I wore them for an entire day at sixth form with no blisters or soreness - literally the comfiest things ever. And at only £29.99 they are an absolute steal! Almost a third of the price of the Vagabond boots of my dreams. They come up quite big so I would probably suggest going down a size - I vary between a 6 and a 7 and got these in a 6. As well as loving wearing these this week, I've also been enjoying layering anything and everything over this halter-neck crop top from Persunmall. I have so many new A/W bits and bobs to show you all that I'm super excited about, so hopefully I'll have my blogging game on this week and I'll actually get round to doing some more posts - so many clothes, so little time... #bloggerproblems

holographic

TOPSHOP COAT // PERSUNMALL DRESS* // ACCESSORIZE NECKLACE // DR MARTEN 1461's // NEW LOOK CLUTCH BAG (ON SALE!)* // ICONEMESIS IPHONE CASE*
Metallic/hologram accessories are hands down my favourite trend at the moment; to be honest I don't even know if they're a trend, I just know that I am utterly obsessed with them! This New Look clutch was the first holographic item to enter my possession, and the fact that it's only £7 in the sale at the moment leaves you with no excuse not to nab yourself one! Other metallic masterpieces that I'm currently coveting include these Topshop heels that I've already mentioned in a previous post, this ASOS sweatshirt that is also on sale, and these iridescent brogues by Miista. My aim is to be able to put together an outfit that is head to toe iridescence by the end of the year, and the way things are going I will no doubt be successful.

dressing to impress

TOPSHOP DRESS
CHI CHI DRESS*
LITTLE MISTRESS DRESS*
I love any excuse to get a little bit dressed up, and with all of my friends turning 18 in quick succession there has been plenty of parties to go to that warranted a bit of extra effort in the wardrobe department. Bearing this in mind, I have somehow accumulated quite a collection of 'dressy' dresses recently, so I thought I would dedicate a post or two to these 'OOTN's' as they are known. I also thought it might make a nice change to see some dressy outfits on the blog, as I rarely wear this kind of thing in posts! The Topshop dress (skirt version here) is definitely one of my favourite things that I've bought recently - it's so flattering and made out of the most gorgeous sparkly fabric that just cannot be appreciated in a photo! I also love the Chi Chi dress; it is incredibly girly so I tried to toughen it up a little with the leather jacket and Jeffrey Campbells. It's such amazing quality and has a really nice v-shaped back which is a lovely detail. The Little Mistress dress is also so impressive quality-wise - I adore the sheer panels at the top, and it really sucks you in in all the right places! It's a little more formal than the other two I think, seeing as it's black, but they also do it in pale pink and it will be perfect for any family occasions! To make it even better, you can currently get 20% off of Little Mistress using the code BLOGGER1251.

In case anyone was wondering, the white heels are from eBay here!

What do you think of the post? A nice change from the usual or not so much?

xoxo
